Our next afternoon meeting will take place on 8th May 2008 in the Ardler Complex Meeting Room at 1:30 pm. The book we are reading for this meeting is Four Play By Fiona Walker. Why not come along and join us to discuss this and other books with other people who like reading. We meet once a month in the Ardler Complex with a tea or coffee and discuss the chosen book for the month. We have a varied group which contains members from 30 to 70+ so we have lots of views and opinions. If you would like to join us contact Karen at the email address or telephone number provided on the Contact Us page. |

This group meets fortnightly to work on the members own creative writing. Our aim is to learn new skills and we are publishing our own magazine. The Dundee Miscellany is free and available from all Dundee Libraries, The Rep, The DCA, Borders Bookstore and the Ardler Village Trust. Whether you are a writer or want to start writing why not join us and who knows you might even get your name in print. We are also looking forward to meeting Illustrator Lindsey Gardiner, attending the Writing Around Dundee event and having a workshop with Dr Jim Stewart in April. Contact Karen for more information on ardlervillagebookclub@blueyonder.co.uk or call 01382 436442. |

The Cultural Pathfinders, Mags Willis and Duncan Crighton, are on Board! We are very lucky as a group to have the ability to consult Mags and Duncan on all things cultural. So far they have helped us by organizing for some of our book group members to participate in the recording of Radio 4 ‘s Book Club in the DCA and are helping local artists to exhibit their work.
